Let me tell you a quick story …
In late 2011 my little online business began to flourish.
From September to December … it jumped from around 3k /month … to 46k /month.
That was after more than 2 years of having very little results, and banging my head against a wall, over and over.
So what caused this sudden change?
Mostly, it was adding in a “back end” to my business model.
If you don’t know what a back end is, or how they work, watch this 7-minute video lesson.
See, for most of that year I’d been selling products for $97.
To have a good month (which back then, I considered 3 or 4 grand), I needed to sell quite a few of these products.
Then, I decided to come out with my first “back end” program, which was at 2k.
I still remember very clearly selling the first one, to a guy called Troy, in Australia.
Suddenly … I’d made more from that one sale, than what I’d usually make in a week selling those cheaper products.
I know that sounds really obvious—but it was like this ‘big epiphany’ for me.
So I came out with another 2k program shortly after, and started marketing that to the existing buyers I had.
Then, I came out with another 5k program.
This started to test my comfort level. Who would pay such prices??
Well apparently quite a few people would, as I soon found out.
Shortly after, I then added in a 9k program.
And then a 15k program.
The highest price point I’ve gone to, to date, is 60k.
And yes … people do pay those kind of prices, if the value is there.
There are businesses in our niche that take it even further than that.
Dan Kennedy’s Platinum mastermind is over 100 grand a year if I’m not mistaken.
Anyway, my point is, you need a back end.
Having a back end will completely and utterly transform the economics of your business.
It will allow you to pay a LOT more to acquire a customer than your competitors.
And whoever can pay the most, always wins the market share in the long term.
You can create your own like I’ve done. It’s taken me the better part of 4 years, and I work on this full time (as in 7 days a week, 14 hours a day—I love it!)
Or … you can leverage someone else’s, and take a %.
That’s essentially how MTTB works. It’s all explained in this video.
My company handles all the fulfillment, and we do all the marketing and selling.
We’re pretty good at it too!
You just send the traffic.
It’s win-win for both of us.
