What Information Do We Collect?
We collect personal information so we can provide the best possible Service. The majority of what you would most likely consider personal data is collected directly from you. We generally collect three specific types of information: (1) personal information you actively choose to disclose (“Active Information”) (2) information collected, in a way not visible to you, and collected based on your personal browsing or usage (“Individual Passive Information”); and (3) information collected, in a way not visible to you, and collected based on an aggregate anonymous basis as you and other users browse our site (“Aggregate Passive Information”).
1. Active Information: Active information is information you personally have to provide to use, like your name, email address, and phone number. We use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect the transmission of the information you submit to us when you use our secure online forms. The information you provide to us is stored securely.
A. Registration as an affiliate or Consultant: When you register to become an affiliate authorized to promote our products or services, we will collect Personally Identifiable Information (such as name, address, email address, and telephone number). This Personally Identifiable Information is securely stored and may be accessed on our website. You are assigned an identification number and select your own password – both are needed to enter the Site and to access your Contact Information. Please safeguard your password in a secure location as we are not responsible for breaches into the system when access is willingly provided.
B. Ordering or purchasing a product or service: When you place an order for products or services, we collect Personally Identifiable Information (such as name, contact and billing information, credit card, and other transactional information). We use this information to deliver your order, process payment, and to communicate the status of your order.
C. Credit Card Storage: Credit card information collected for product or Service orders is used only to process payment for the transaction and is not retained on our Site. In order to maintain the highest security for our customers’ credit card information, MOBE does not save, collect or maintain any credit card information on its servers. All credit card payments are processed through independent third party gateways with the highest security levels. Any subscriptions allowing for a monthly re-billing will have payment information stored on a secure third party server. You may voluntarily elect to securely store multiple credit cards to be used for product orders.
D. Surveys, Newsletters and Promotions: You may voluntarily provide Personally Identifiable Information to complete surveys, questionnaires or to participate in user polls. You may also provide this information to receive our world-class newsletters. We use this information to improve our products and services and to ensure that we’re providing accurate disclosures. We may also use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide you newsletters and other marketing information that coincide with your preferences. You may customize your marketing preferences, or let us know if you do not wish to receive any promotional materials, by adjusting your Subscriptions & Email options on the Site.
E. Customer Support: When you request assistance from our customer support department you will be asked to provide your phone number or email so we can continue to provide customer support.
F. Payment information for Consultants & Affiliates: MOBE has a very well-known affiliate program where its affiliates (called Consultants) can market any of the products and services that MOBE sells. In order to make sure there is no fraudulent or illegal activity, MOBE conducts audits of accounts and will often require proof of identity, bank account information, etc. When these requests are made the information is viewed for the specific audit and then deleted. MOBE does not maintain any of the identification information used to verify an account. All payments to MOBE affiliates are made through eWallet so MOBE does not maintain any bank account or other payment information.
G. Applying for a job or other staff position with MOBE: when you apply for a job or other staff position with MOBE certain information is required. If you apply for a position the specific information required for that opening will be requested.
