Leads are like bananas. You have to act fast.
Don’t leave your leads for a week or two weeks, or they’ll go bad. With every day that passes, the probability of a lead converting drops lower and lower.
Instead, follow up with your leads early and often, and in the right way. That’s how you will make the maximum amount of sales.
Marcin Marczak shares his system for following up leads in this video, filmed at the Diamond Mastermind in Bali, Indonesia.
CALL “A” LEADS ON THE PHONE
First of all, Marcin divides up his leads into three groups. There are “A” leads, “B” leads and “C” leads.
Those who show strong buying signals are the “A” leads. They see the value in the product and they’re ready to move forward.
When Marcin senses an “A” lead, he will call them on the phone. It’s worth his time if he can make a high ticket sale.
CHAT TO “B” LEADS ON FACEBOOK
The “B” leads are those who very possibly might buy, but have not yet shown the strong buying signals of an “A” lead.
Marcin prefers to chat to his “B” leads on Facebook. However, he doesn’t pitch and send them order links without their permission. He will build rapport, ask questions to find their problem and only then will he close them.
Sometimes he will have those leads try to pitch him on something they are selling. When he sees them approach the situation in this way, he knows they are struggling and that they are a good prospect for his business.
LEAVE THE “C” LEADS FOR NOW
Some of your leads will be “C” leads. These are the ones who are not open to buying right now.
Don’t forget about them altogether. They may still buy later on. Maybe they just haven’t hit the wall hard enough and don’t fully comprehend their problem yet.
In the meantime, send the “C” leads automated emails and keep them engaged with your brand until they’re ready to buy.
