A lot of new marketers are camera-shy. They know that video marketing will help their business, but they’re just not comfortable getting behind the camera.
When I started in online marketing, neither was I. In fact, it took me three years before I started consistently making videos and appearing on camera.
I don’t want it to take as long for you as it did for me.

TIME IS MONEY
If you look at MOBE’s YouTube channel, you will see there were 552 videos uploaded in the 6 years from the channel’s inception in 2009 through to 2015. Most of these are short, 2 to 3 minute videos.
If you filmed and uploaded two videos of this length every day, you would be able to make more videos in your first year than MOBE made in its first six.
With just the organic views you’d accumulate from this many videos, and provided you attach your offer, you can’t help but make money.
The reason MOBE has so few videos in a 6 year time period is because I waited too long to publish the first one. Remember, time is money. Every day you put off making videos is an opportunity to make money that you’ll never get back.
MATT LLOYD’S FIRST VIDEO
In 2009, I filmed my first video. When I watched it, I couldn’t stand the sight of myself, the sound of my voice and the amateur and unprofessional quality of the video. I decided I wouldn’t be uploading it and I wouldn’t be making another one anytime soon.
In 2013, I was putting on my first mastermind in Fiji. I knew I couldn’t sell it with words alone. I needed to show the island and the resort on a video.
So, I bought an expensive camera for $1,000 and booked a trip to Fiji for 3 days. For the first 2 and a half days, I procrastinated and did nothing. Finally, on the 3rd day, I managed to work up the confidence to film myself on video (with the help of a few cocktails.)
We started promoting the video, and selling tickets to our first mastermind. Video sells, and it’s silly to miss out on such a lucrative opportunity because of a little bit of fear.
