What’s the biggest difference between you and a billionaire? (Other than a billion dollars.)
Were they more talented or more educated than you? Did they have a better childhood? No, the biggest difference between them and you is how they spend their time.
The way you spend your time will determine how much money you earn. Certain activities will increase your income, and others will destroy it.
Billionaires work out which are which, and adjust their activities accordingly, while others remain in the dark and suffer the consequences.
In this video, filmed at the Titanium Mastermind in Jamaica, Norbert Orlewicz talks about managing your time to scale your business.
IT’S THE WAY YOU SPEND YOUR TIME
Why do we talk so much about outsourcing, hiring, creating systems and using leverage? Because at the end of the day, it’s all to do with time management. We all have the same 24 hours and we need to be wise about how to spend them.
A lot of these business building strategies may serve you well in the future, but not be practical for you to implement right now. You may not be able to afford to hire a lot of staff, or you may not yet have the workload to require staff.
Time management is different. No matter the size of your business, this is a lesson you can take away and start applying today.
There are things that happen both in your business and outside of it that kill your productivity and therefore your income. You must be disciplined about your time because you’ll never get it back.
WHY MOST BUSINESSES STAY THE SAME SIZE
The things you did when launching your business off the ground will not necessarily work for you in the growth phase and the maturity phase. You need to adapt your activities as your business grows.
The thing that get you to 6 figures won’t get you to 7 figures, and the things that get you to 7 figures won’t get you to 8 figures.
Most businesses stall because they keep doing exactly what they’ve always been doing. If you keep doing the activities that got you to 5 figures, you’ll likely continue to do 5 figures.
The businesses that are constantly growing are the ones that are constantly innovating, changing and adapting. The owner is not afraid to change the things he or she does on a daily basis, in ordre to get to the next level.
